SOLAT :
DOUBTFUL ABOUT RAKAAT

Once takbir is recited at the beginning of a solat, many things become unlawful such as eating, drinking, talking etc.

Standing is a very important part of solat. It is better for one to perform solat standing, and whoever performs solat sitting gets half the reward of that person who performs solat while standing.

Whoever performs solat while lying gets half the reward of that person who performs while sitting.

If one starts his solat sitting and then during the solat he feels better, he should continue his solat standing.

Do good deeds which are within your capacity as Allah never gets tired of giving rewards.

It is recommended to say “Ameen” after the imam finishing the recitation of Al-Fatihah. Ameen means “O Allah’ Accept our invocation”.

If our Ameen coincides with that of the angels then all our past sins will be forgiven.

The sins which are pardoned are minor sins because major sins are not forgiven unless one makes sincere repentance and seek forgiveness from whom he has wronged.

Allah ordered us to sujud (prostrate) on seven body parts.

Those parts are the forehead (certain scholars insist with the tip of the nose too), both hands, both knees, and the main toes of both feet. Place the palms of our hands on the ground and raise our elbows.

Whenever our Prophet Muhammad rukuk (bow) he would spread out his fingers and when he sujud (prostrate) he would bring his fingers together.

When we are in doubt about our solat and does not remember how many rakaat we have prayed, whether three or four rakaat, we should base our prayer on what we are sure of.

In this particular case, we should count our prayer as three rakaat, and we need to add one more rakaat to complete our solat.

Then we perform (voluntary) two prostrations before salam (end of solat).

During our sleep, satan ties three knots at the back of our head.

When we wake up and remember Allah, one knot is undone.

When we perform wuduk, the second knot is undone, and when perform solat (Tahajjud) the third knot is undone.

May Allah bless all those who love Him, and worship Him with pure intentions.
