ALLOWABLE DURING PRAYER

TEGUH: Crying and moaning, regardless of whether it is due to a fear of Allah or otherwise, is permissible. But please do not over doing it, it can lead to somehow “speaking” intentionally which is forbidden.

AKHTAR: Turning our head to a side due to some need is permissable. But be careful not turn your chest other than the direction of kiblat/kaabah/Mecca. However, turning our head at something without any genuine need, should not been done in the fardu (obligatory) prayer. It can cause disastrous.

MULIA: Killing a snake, scorpion or other harmful animals is also allowable. But it should be done in a small action just enough to hinder the animal from harming us.

FAEZ: Opening the door which was locked can be done, in particular if the visitor is our parent . But we must observe our chest does not deviate from the direction of the kiblat, and our foot steps should observe “action, pause, action, pause” pattern. That is take one or two steps then stop for a while, continue with the steps again (maximum two steps at a time) then stop, and the action can be repeated several times.

TEGUH: There are more examples described in the kitab, but we dare not narrated it here for it needs some form of guidance from an ustaz. Certain mazhab allows certain acts but our mazhab syafie has different interpretation about it. May be other time we talk about these later.
